Tranquility Bay Resort Expands Wedding Packages
For Intimate Ceremonies in the Florida Keys
MARATHON, Florida Keys (Aug. 17, 2009) – Due to the success of its Tranquility wedding package for smaller weddings, Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort, a luxury Singh Resorts property in the heart of the Florida Keys, has expanded its intimate fantasy beach wedding packages to accommodate a wider range of budgets.
"Our Tranquility package, priced at $1,000 for small weddings, has been very popular, so we’ve created three additional packages that range in price from $750 to $3,000,” said Pritam Singh, founder of Singh Resorts. "These packages allow couples to have an unforgettable wedding day at an incredible value.”
The new Sunset, Butterfly and Island Breeze packages, with the existing Tranquility package, provide more options to make the perfect wedding even more memorable.
The Sunset Package provides for up to 10 guests, including the bride and groom. The ceremony is held in Tranquility Bay’s Sunset Gazebo, a classical Key West style gazebo located on the turquoise waters of Tranquility Bay. At only $750, the Sunset Package is an undisputed value and includes:
- Wedding ceremony at the Sunset Gazebo
- White wedding chairs for guests
- Gazebo décor of white sheer draperies
- Non-denominational wedding officiate
At $1,250, the Butterfly Package facilitates up to 10 guests, including the bride and groom, and provides:
- Wedding ceremony at the resort’s Sunset Gazebo
- White wedding chairs for guests
- Gazebo décor of white sheer draperies
- Rose petal aisle way
- Bridal bouquet
- Groom’s boutonniere
- Non-denominational wedding officiate
- Dinner reservations for the resort’s award-winning fine dining restaurant, Butterfly Café
- Bottle of champagne with dinner
- Single tier wedding cake
- Display and service of the wedding cake at dinner in the Butterfly Café
The resort’s original Tranquility Package, priced at $1,000, includes all the amenities of the Butterfly package except for the wedding cake and its display at dinner.
For somewhat larger, yet still intimate, weddings, the Island Breeze Package accommodates up to 30 guests, including the bride and groom, and takes place on a 40-foot power catamaran at sunset. At $3,000, the Island Breeze package includes:
- Sunset wedding ceremony on board Tranquility Bay’s 40-foot power catamaran, Island Time
- Bridal bouquet
- Groom’s boutonniere
- Non-denominational wedding officiate
- Champagne toast for all at sunset
- Cold hors d’oeuvres display
- Bottled water and assorted sodas
- Small wedding cake
- Dinner reservation for the Butterfly Café (cost of dinner not included)
- Display and service of the wedding cake at dinner in the Butterfly Café
Extra services, such as photography and additional décor, are available for all packages at an additional charge. Each package is available Monday through Thursday.

Island Spice spa services feature an extensive menu of in-home treatments, including exotic massages, facial massages, exfoliation and manicures.
