Our Accessible Accommodations at Tranquility Bay
SPACIOUS BEACH HOUSES: We offer one spacious two-bedroom beach house or a selection of three-bedroom beach houses (three available), with accessible amenities. Each unit features:
- A kitchen with appliances designed at a height that meets ADA standards
- Support bars in the bathroom around the toilet
- A roll-in shower with support bars
GROUND FLOOR GUESTROOMS: In addition to the four accessible beach houses, Tranquility Bay also offers a Tropical Garden King Guestroom located on the ground floor, which features:
- A roll-in shower with support bars
- Support bars around the toilet
- Lowered railing in the closet
- A nearby elevator for guests wanting to reach the second floor

The resort also welcomes all guests to enjoy our Fitness Center, which features a roll-in shower with support bars, and an accessible toilet. Our outdoor pools offer pool lifts as well. Digital Partner Commitment
Booking Engine: Tranquility Bay sources TravelClick’s iHotelier booking engine for digital room reservation transactions. We are proud to partner with TravelClick as they have also committed to digital accessibility and have taken steps to be compliant with the current standards. As of November 2017, iHotelier Booking Engine 4.0 and Area Search can be accessed and used by “JAWS”, the most popular screen reader used by those who are visually impaired. TravelClick is in the process of remediating it’s iHotelier Booking Engine 4.0 and Area Search to comply with the WCAG standards. It is expected that by the end of second quarter of 2018, iHotelier Booking Engine 4.0 and Area Search will comply with WCAG level AA.
