Is Tranquility Bay Resort fully open?

Yes, Tranquility Bay Resort, its amenities and dining outlets are all open.

We temporarily closed from March 22nd through May 31st following a mandate by county officials and reopened in full on June 1st.

We continue to follow official guidance and adhere to any local official restrictions which may be in place. This includes any temporary enforced closure of our dining outlets, which may be at short notice. Please check our Covid-19 Travel Information for our latest updates.

What is Tranquility Bay doing to ensure my safety from Covid-19?

Our Safety and Wellbeing Promise outlines the measures we have taken to ensure the safety of everyone at our resort.

Are the beach and swimming pools open?

Yes, our 2.5-acre beach with safe swimming area and all three swimming pools within our private resort are open – that is our Lagoon Pool, our Adult-only Pool, and our Tropical Garden Pool.

Is the onsite bar and restaurant operating?

Yes, both our beachfront Tiki Bar and our top-rated Butterfly Café restaurant are open and fully operational.

In fact, we have introduced new additional offers to accommodate all our guests' needs, including:

- A new take-away menu at Butterfly Café, so as well as still being able to dine in its elegant dining room or outside on its covered patio, guests can now enjoy its award-winning dishes in the comfort of their private Beach House or guestroom.

- An exciting new and more extensive lunch menu is available at our beachfront Tiki Bar, so guests can now enjoy classic tastes of the Florida Keys in our open-air seating area looking out across the Gulf of Mexico.

We have introduced enhanced cleaning procedures, social distancing measures, and are using disposable menus at our dining outlets and for in-room dining as part of Our Safety and Wellbeing Promise.

Can I order in-room dining?

Yes, you can. Our top-rated Butterfly Café restaurant now offers a new Take-away Menu which includes a wide selection of its best dishes, available for you to order to be delivered to your private guestroom or beach house.

Similarly, during the day, you can order from our beachfront Tiki Bar’s new lunch menu.

Disposable menus can be found in your room. When your order is prepared, we will call to confirm one of our team members is on the way to make contactless delivery. Your meal will be served ‘to-go’ style, using disposable serve ware.

Is the fitness room open?

Yes, our fitness room is open to guests and we are following a strict program of disinfecting and sanitization to ensure the room and equipment are safe. See Our Safety and Wellbeing Promise.

Do I have to wear a face mask at the resort?

Following a recent mandate by Florida Keys Officials, face masks must now be worn in all covered public spaces of our resort, as well as in all public establishments and at any time when social distancing is not possible. For more information visit www.fla-keys.com.

How do I check-in at the resort?

Check-in is carried out inside our main Reception building at the front of the property.

We have installed plexi-shield protective screens and signage to help ensure social distancing and ask that only the registered lead guest from your party come to check-in and check-out on behalf of your group.

As a reminder, check-in time is as rooms become available after 4pm, check-out time is before 11am, and the Reception building is open from 6:30am – 11pm.

What are the terms if I need to alter my travel dates or cancel?
